SUBPIXULAR* ENGINE ROOM

Share this ARTICLE with your colleagues on LinkedIn .

NOTE: The term Subpixular Engine Room* is a clever Lingovation developed by Douglas E. Castle to categorically describe a blog page which is barely visible to the naked eye (i.e., the print is so small that you might get a headache trying to decipher it with anything less than your Uncle Claus’ reading monocle, or your kid’s magnifying glass), but serves some obscure technical function in terms of search engine optimization (SEO). Then again, sometimes it’s just a “filler page” because the webmaster just felt like putting it in [perhaps a poor choice of words], and it serves no purpose at all. Some portion of the content is textual, and some of it is comprised of obscure symbols. In any case, if reading this has caused you to extend your visit, it was probably good for both of us and Humankind as a whole. It’s marvelous to think BIG -- to see a clear image. It’s marvelous to go viral. And memes are our new themes. It’s a mixture of media, marketing and messaging. Did someone mention Monks4Memes?
