AN "UNKIND" TACTIC TO ACCELERATE PROGRESS.

Dear Friends:

I have heard it said by many an assertive achiever that, "It is better to beg foregiveness than to ask permission." Lamentably, I must agree -- it is a tactic that invariably gets things done more rapidly.

Yesterday, I heard another twist on the same basic theme: "Never bother to beg forgiveness. It is an admission of wrongdoing, weakness and a surrender of your personal power. Again, lamentably, I must agree.
Ironically, while democracy is beloved unto so many of us, it has the inherent problems associated with a long, sluggish approval process. Stimulus Package, anyone?

Faithfully,
